Position details:

Operated counterbalance and walkie forklifts safely and efficiently in a fast-paced bakery and food production environment. Responsible for moving and staging raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished goods between receiving, production, storage, and shipping while following food safety, PPE, and workplace procedures. Performed daily equipment inspections, reported mechanical or safety concerns, and maintained clean, organized production and warehouse areas. Able to work independently and collaboratively with production and shipping teams in refrigerated environments.

Must have skills and experience:

• Valid forklift certifications for counterbalance and walkie equipment
• Minimum 2 years operating both counterbalance and walkie forklifts in production or warehouse settings
• Experience loading, unloading, transporting, and staging pallets of raw materials and finished products
• Knowledge of and adherence to forklift operating procedures, PPE standards, and food safety practices
• Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and report issues
• Comfortable working in cold and refrigerated environments for extended periods
• Capable of repetitive lifting, standing, pushing, pulling, and other physically demanding duties
• Reliable, safety conscious, and able to work with minimal supervision while coordinating with production and warehouse teams
