Job Summary:

Our client in North York is currently seeking an experienced Brake Press / Roll Forming Machine Setup Operator. This role is ideal for a skilled operator with proven hands-on experience setting up brake presses or roll forming machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for machine setup, operation, and ensuring high-quality production in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and operate brake press and/or roll forming machines according to production requirements

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work orders

• Select correct tooling, dies, and materials for each job

• Perform first-piece and in-process quality checks to ensure specifications are met

• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency

• Monitor machine performance and report any mechanical issues

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Follow all company safety policies, GMP, and WSIB regulations

• Work closely with supervisors and production team to meet deadlines

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 2 to 3 years experience setting up brake presses or roll forming machines is required

• Strong knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and material handling

• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments

• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
