Machine operator | Printing industry

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join our client’s production team. The Client is a Printing and book manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate and monitor printing and binding machinery, follow production instructions, and ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.

***Training will be provided, but previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machines according to established procedures.
• Load and unload materials or components into machines.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report any equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of machines and work area.
• Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), WSIB regulations, and company safety standards.
• Assist with other general production or labour tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good teamwork, communication, and reliability.
