Position Details

As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will be the eyes and ears of our safety program. This role is designed for a sharp, proactive professional who thrives in dynamic environments. You will be responsible for conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations (OHSA), and fostering a "safety-first" culture across our teams.

We are looking for someone "shift and location flexible"—meaning you are comfortable adapting your schedule and traveling between sites as needed to ensure our safety standards are met around the clock.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a H&S role is preferred; however, we will consider high-potential recent graduates with strong academic foundations.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of provincial Occupational Health and Safety Acts and WSIB/Workers Comp processes.
• Adaptability: Proven ability to work flexible shifts (evenings/weekends if required) and travel to different locations.
• Core Competencies: Strong "people skills" to influence safety behaviors, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to react quickly to onsite incidents.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with (or ability to quickly learn) safety management software.
