You will be overseeing production and packaging activities on the lines, support and train employees and directly supports the production supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Afternoon Team Lead is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the afternoon order picking and
packing group. They are responsible to providing leadership and guidance to all team members in the areas of
safety, customer service, and team development as it relates to the WMS system and assisting in the development
and implementation of systems to support continuous improvement.
Key duties of the role:
• Direct the day-to-day activities of the Afternoon Supply Operations outbound processes: picking, packing and
inventory control, and provide leadership to staff to ensure goals are met.
• Responsible for training and developing packing staff and monitoring of productivity and performance with the
assistance of the Operations Supervisor and Manager.
• Co-ordinate and release all orders for processing and check the order pool on a regular basis; ensure all
outstanding or past due orders are cleaned up.
• Maintain open communication with Shipping, Sales & all other business areas to ensure timely and accurate
delivery of customer orders.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures, both written and understood, are followed.
• Provide feedback on employee performance, time & attendance management, recruitment, and disciplinary
action where required to Operations Supervisor and Manager.
• In coordination with the Operations Supervisor and Manager, assist in the coaching and disciplining of team
members as needed.
• Make recommendations for improvement in procedures and packing quality.
• Assist team members with processing and packing to ensure the accuracy and “on time” delivery of order to our
customers.
• Consistently portray a positive image, encouraging fellow team members and boosting morale when required
(always leading by example).
• Coordinate and communicate with Operations Supervisor to ensure completion of all tasks, in order to avoid
errors and duplication of effort.
• Responsible for ensuring all tasks performed on the shift are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform other related duties as required.
