Cabinetmaker

Position Details:

A custom millwork and cabinetry company is looking for an experienced Cabinetmaker with strong hands-on skills in laminating, filing, cabinet assembly, and hardware installation. The ideal candidate can work independently, read drawings, and build high-quality products with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and assemble cabinets, millwork components, and fixtures according to drawings
• Perform laminating, filing, trimming, and finishing tasks
• Install cabinet hardware including hinges, handles, slides, and specialty components
• Interpret shop drawings and measurements accurately
• Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely (saws, routers, drills, sanders)
• Ensure products meet quality and workmanship standards
• Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures
• Assist with general shop tasks as needed

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of Cabinetmaking experience
• Strong skills in laminating, filing, cabinet assembly, and hardware installation
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
• Experience operating woodworking hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to lift materials and work in a fast-paced production environment
