Cabinetmaker

Job Description:

We are a custom cabinet manufacturer seeking an experienced Cabinetmaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong woodworking skills, experience building and installing custom cabinets, and the ability to work both in the shop and on-site. Compensation will be based on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, assemble, and finish custom wood cabinets according to specifications.
• Perform in-home installations throughout the GTA with a high level of precision and professionalism.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining quality standards and production schedules.
• Travel to job sites for installations as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cabinetmaking or wood shop work.
• Valid driver’s license; own vehicle is an asset.
• Proficiency with all hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Experience in cabinet installation is required.
• Ability to travel within the GTA for on-site work.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
• Full-time availability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
