Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Counterbalance / Walkie Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and production operations at our bakery facility in North York. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating material handling equipment in a fast-paced, food-grade environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Counterbalance and Walkie forklifts to load, unload, and move ingredients, packaging, and finished goods
Supply production lines with raw materials and remove finished products to designated areas
Perform accurate inventory movements using RF scanners or manual logs
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and loading dock areas
Follow all safety protocols and food handling standards
Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance and Walkie forklift certification
1+ year of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or food production environment preferred
Ability to work in warm and cool temperature environments
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Shift: Day , Afternoon , Night shifts available
